Video: Max Planck Research Group Stefan Glöggler

Stefan Glöggler's research focuses on developing contrast agents and magnetic resonance technology to improve health care in the future. He aims at providing new approaches to diagnose cancer and neurodegeneration and to make magnetic resonance imaging more accessible to everyone.

Stefan Glöggler has headed the NMR Signal Enhancement Research Group at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry since 2017. In 2020, he applied for the ERC Starting Grants together with 3,272 other junior scientists and succeeded. Now, the European Research Council (ERC) funds him with about 1.5 million euros.
