Silvio Rizzoli

Dear visitor,

The Center for Biostructural Imaging of Neurodegeneration (BIN) is a scientific establishment belonging to the University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG) and is funded by its Medical Faculty.

The researchers working in the Center for Biostructural Imaging of Neurodegeneration focus their efforts on functionally imaging the causes of neurodegenerative diseases and on developing innovative, leading-edge imaging techniques. Their goal is to clarify the causes and processes underlying neurodegenerative diseases.

So as to optimally translate the results of the basic research carried out in the Center for Biostructural Imaging of Neurodegeneration into clinical therapeutic applications, the Center has a cooperation in place with the DZNE (German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases), housed in the same building.

Yours sincerely
Prof. Silvio Rizzoli
